About

At Bairish Systems, our guiding mission is to bring simplicity to enterprise AI tools at the world’s leading private banks.

This philosophy is so essential to our approach that it is baked directly into our name. We build Banking Artificial Intelligence Research (BAIR) Systems that are so simple to use that you would be forgiven for thinking that we only sort of do our job: Bairish Systems.

Our solutions are tailored to make aspirational AI capabilities reality by blending standard statistical analyses, judicious use of appropriate inferential techniques, and bespoke report generation to empower bankers and analysts to work at breakneck speeds.

We understand that hours spent preparing for client meetings are hours wasted on neither meeting with existing clients nor sourcing new ones.

To that end, Bairish tools are designed around three key principles:

Rapid Deployment

Technology is meant to deliver efficiency—not demand a reorganization around itself. Our tools frictionlessly slot into existing workflows, prioritizing maximum adaptability.

Streamlined Compliance

Nobody likes compliance overhead, and clients value their privacy. Our tools are designed to handle data exclusively on internal computers and, where technically feasible, the user’s local machine.

Human Readability

Even the most sophisticated models in the world are useless if nobody beyond the engineer can understand its output. Our tools prioritize generating products that require no interpretation beyond reading what’s on the page.

Nicolas Casey

Founder — Quantitative Research & Systems Development

Nicolas Casey founded Bairish Systems to develop analytical infrastructure and artificial intelligence tools for private banking and advisory institutions.

He studied Mathematical Economics at the University of Pennsylvania, with coursework spanning econometrics, quantitative finance, real analysis, and advanced linear algebra. His work focuses on factor modeling, regime analysis, and the translation of complex financial data into decision-ready analytical output.

Prior to founding Bairish Systems, Nicolas worked in private banking where he observed firsthand the inefficiencies involved in synthesizing portfolio exposures, market structure, and client context under tight advisory timelines. Bairish Systems was created to address this problem directly.

His technical interests include statistical learning, market regime modeling, and the development of practical AI systems that augment institutional decision-making.

Advisory relationships and institutional collaborations are disclosed where appropriate.
